01 · What IPTV Smarters Pro Is — and What It Isn't
IPTV Smarters Pro is a media player application — not an IPTV service. It has no channels of its own. Think of it like VLC or Windows Media Player: it plays video, but you bring the content. In this case, the content comes from your IPTVCanadaSub subscription.
Once you enter your IPTVCanadaSub credentials (server URL, username, password) into Smarters Pro, it connects to our servers and loads your full channel list — all Canadian sports channels, international feeds, VOD library and EPG program guide. From that point it works exactly like a cable TV interface on any device you install it on.
What makes it the best choice for beginners: unlike TiviMate (which requires sideloading on Fire Stick), IPTV Smarters Pro is available directly on the Google Play Store and Amazon Appstore in some regions, and on the Apple App Store — making it accessible on iPhones and iPads where TiviMate has no official app.
The app is completely free on Android and Fire Stick. An optional one-time upgrade ($5.49 USD) removes ads. The iOS version costs approximately $4.99 USD as a one-time purchase on the App Store. All core features — live TV, VOD, EPG, Xtream Codes support — are available in the free version.

IPTV Smarters Pro is not available on the Amazon Appstore in Canada. You need to sideload it via Downloader — the same process as TiviMate, but slightly different steps.
Enable Apps from Unknown Sources
Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Install Unknown Apps → find Downloader and turn it ON.
Install Downloader from the Amazon Appstore
Search "Downloader" in the Fire TV search bar. Install the orange icon app by AFTVnews — it's free.
Download IPTV Smarters Pro via Downloader
Open Downloader and enter this URL in the address bar to go to the official download page:
Download the Fire Stick / Android TV APK file from the page.
Install the APK
When the download completes, click Install. After installation click Done. You can delete the APK file to free up space — IPTV Smarters Pro will remain installed.
Find IPTV Smarters Pro in your apps
Go to Your Apps & Channels → See All → scroll to find IPTV Smarters Pro. Long-press it and select Move to front for quick access from the home screen.
04 · Install on Android TV and Android Phone
Open Google Play Store and search IPTV Smarters Pro
On your Android TV box (Xiaomi TV Box S, Nvidia Shield, etc.) or Android smartphone, open the Google Play Store and search "IPTV Smarters Pro".
Install — it's free
Tap Install. The app is approximately 45MB and installs in under a minute on any modern Android device.
Open the app and proceed to connect your subscription
Open IPTV Smarters Pro and proceed to Section 07 to connect your IPTVCanadaSub credentials. The process is identical on all devices.
05 · Install on iPhone and iPad
IPTV Smarters Pro is one of the only fully-featured IPTV players available natively on iOS — which is its biggest advantage over TiviMate for Canadian iPhone users.
Open the App Store and search "IPTV Smarters Player"
Note: the iOS version is called "IPTV Smarters Player" (slightly different name from the Android version due to Apple's App Store policies). Search for exactly this name.
Purchase and install — approximately $4.99 USD
The iOS version is a one-time paid download (~$4.99 USD). This is the cost of the app itself — separate from your IPTVCanadaSub subscription.
Open and connect your subscription
Open IPTV Smarters Player and proceed to Section 07. Note: some features available on Android — including multi-screen view — are not available on the iOS version.
If IPTV Smarters Player is not in your regional App Store or you prefer a free option, GSE Smart IPTV is the most popular free IPTV player for iPhone and iPad in Canada. It supports the same Xtream Codes credentials from IPTVCanadaSub and has a strong EPG for Canadian sports channels.
06 · Smart TV (Samsung and LG)
IPTV Smarters Pro is not natively available on Samsung Smart TV (Tizen) or LG Smart TV (webOS). These operating systems don't support sideloaded Android apps.
The two practical solutions for Canadian Smart TV users:
- Plug in a Fire Stick 4K Max or Xiaomi TV Box S via HDMI — this is the recommended approach. Takes 5 minutes, gives you full IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate on any TV, and costs CA$65–80 for the device.
- Use the Smart TV's built-in browser — some Samsung and LG TVs support web-based IPTV players. Quality is lower than a dedicated app but works in a pinch.
The "Smart IPTV" app (not the same as IPTV Smarters) is available on Samsung Smart TV app stores and supports M3U playlists. It costs a one-time fee of approximately $5.99 USD and works with IPTVCanadaSub M3U links. Contact us via WhatsApp for your M3U link if you prefer this route.
07 · Connect Your IPTVCanadaSub Subscription
This process is identical on all devices. You need the credentials from your IPTVCanadaSub WhatsApp message: server URL, username and password.
Open IPTV Smarters Pro and tap "Add New User"
On the home screen, tap or click Add New User. You'll see three login options — choose Login with Xtream Codes API.
Fill in your credentials
Enter a name for your account (e.g. "IPTVCanadaSub"), then fill in the three fields:
Tap "Add User" and wait for channels to load
Smarters Pro will connect to the server and download your channel list. The first load takes 1–3 minutes. You'll see Live TV, Movies, Series and Catch-Up sections appear.
Find your Canadian sports channels
Tap Live TV → browse categories or use the search icon. Search "Sportsnet", "TSN" or "CBC" to find all Canadian sports feeds. Add them to favourites by long-pressing (Android) or holding (iOS) the channel name.
