01 · Why Czech TV Is Geo-Blocked in Canada
Czech Television (Česká televize) and commercial broadcasters like Nova and Prima hold broadcast rights for content that is geographically licensed — meaning they can only legally stream certain programmes within the Czech Republic. When their servers detect a Canadian IP address, they block access to protect their international licensing agreements.

You open iVysílání (ct24.cz or ct.cz) from Toronto. The site detects your Canadian IP address and shows: "Tento obsah není dostupný ve vaší zemi" (This content is not available in your country). Same happens with Nova Play and Prima+.

05 · Setup on Android TV and Android Phone

Open App Store → search "IPTV Smarters Player"
The iOS version is called "IPTV Smarters Player" (note: slightly different name on App Store). It costs approximately $4.99 USD as a one-time purchase. Alternatively, GSE Smart IPTV is free on iOS and works equally well with Czech channels.
Add playlist → Xtream Codes API → enter credentials
Open the app → Add New User → Login with Xtream Codes API → enter your server URL, username and password from your IPTVCanadaSub WhatsApp message.
Find Czech channels in Live TV → search "ČT" or "Nova"
Once channels load, tap Live TV → search icon → type "ČT" for Czech Television channels or "Nova" for Nova channels. Add to favourites for quick access.
07 · Finding Czech Channels in TiviMate and IPTV Smarters
Czech channels are organized under international categories in your channel list. Here are the fastest search terms to find them:
- Search "CZ" — returns all channels tagged with Czech Republic. ČT1, ČT2, ČT Sport, ČT24, ČT 😀 will appear.
- Search "ČT" — finds all Czech Television public channels directly.
- Search "Nova" — returns Nova, Nova Cinema, Nova Action and Nova Gold.
- Search "Prima" — returns Prima, Prima Cool, Prima LOVE and Prima MAX.
- Search "SK" — returns Slovak channels: Markíza, JOJ, RTVS, TA3.
- Search "Markiza" or "JOJ" — finds Slovak channels directly.
In TiviMate, long-press any Czech channel → Add to Favourites → create a group named "Czech TV". Add ČT1, ČT2, ČT Sport, Nova, Prima and your Slovak channels to this group.
